KFC Baked Beans

I was looking for something to serve with our bagel dogs and realized it had been a while since we had baked beans. Here's the recipe we like.

Our version of KFC BBQ Baked Beans

• 2 tablespoons water
• 1 tablespoon cornstarch
• 4 cups cooked small white beans
• 1/2 cup ketchup
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 2 tablespoons white vinegar
• 1/4 cup minced onion
• 2 tablespoons crumbled bacon
• 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• dash pepper
• dash garlic powder

Combine water and cornstarch until dissolved and stir into the beans. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well. Pour into a casserole dish. Cover and bake for 90 minutes at 350°, stirring every 30 minutes. Let sit for a few minutes before serving.
