Cuban Pork
We discovered this was a great marinade!
Cuban Pork Chops
- 1 tablespoon garlic
- 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 tablespoons vegetable/olive oil
Pour/rub over pork chops, marinate for several hours, then bake or grill.
Note: We baked our 4 4-ounce chops for 30 minutes at 350°. That was a bit too long which made them dry, although still delicious. This recipe was created for baking a pork loin roast; next time we do chops, we’ll cook them on the stove and not in the oven. We ate a couple for Sunday dinner, then sliced the remaining ones to be used in sandwiches. That would have been easier to do with a roast.
