Holiday Popcorn

A picture of this yummy Valentine treat caught my attention, so we gave it a try, although we used ordinary M&M's instead of taking a trip to the store to buy a bag of Valentine ones.

Holiday Popcorn 

• 8 cups popped popcorn (about 1/3 cup unpopped)
• 3 cups pretzel pieces
• 3 tablespoons butter
• 4 1/2 to 5 cups mini marshmallows
• 1 cup M&M's (current holiday themed colors would be perfect)
• 2 to 4 tablespoons sprinkles

Combine popcorn and pretzels. Melt butter and marshmallows together until melted, then pour over popcorn. Stir in candy pieces and spread on some waxed paper to cool.

This was very good, and does make a fun holiday treat, but it's also super sticky, so we'll probably stick with our regular caramel popcorn recipe in the future.
