Christmas Ham
We decided that instead of roast beef, we'd have ham for Christmas dinner this year. (Note that we prefer non-spiral-cut hams, which we have found at Aldi. The other hams may be more prevalent and less work, but they dry out too quickly for our tastes.) Here's the festive sauce I found for it, made out of lingonberry jam.
Lingonberry Glaze
- 1/4 cup lingonberry jam
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
Spread on ham the last hour of cooking.
