December's Vegetables

We didn't spend a lot of time shopping together this month, so we only tried a couple of "new" vegetables, but they actually fit into our menu plan quite well.

Salsa Fresca - plain with tortilla chips!

Green Beans - worked out perfectly as the vegetable side for our Christmas feast. (Note: use tongs to serve them, not a spoon.)


Kabobs - broiled for a few minutes, these made a great accompaniment for our Seafood Vinaigrette-filled avocados.

That was the end of the first case filled with ready-to-cook vegetables. Next up: pre-made salads!
