Passion Fruit
We have a tradition of stopping at Robert Is Here on our trips to the Florida Keys, and the past several times I've selected a milkshake with passion fruit in it; all the various combinations have been delicious. However, I wasn't sure what passion fruit looked like or tasted like on its own. This time around we rectified that.
It's an interesting looking fruit, and the sign said to eat it when wrinkled. Cut it in half. Then you can just spoon out the insides. They're quite tart, but yummy. If desired, you can strain out the seeds, but why go to all that work when they are edible?
Plain was fine, but we decided to add it to a fruit salad, and that was great as well.
We added the last bit to a strawberry/mango/passion fruit milkshake!
