Honey Garlic Chicken

Honey Garlic Chicken (from RecipeTinEats)

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into 4 thin pieces
  • 1/4 flour seasoned with salt and pepper (substitute cornstarch for gluten-free diners)
  • 2-3 tablespoons butter or olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
Toss the chicken filets in the seasoned flour and brown in melted butter. Add the garlic and stir for a minute. Stir in the vinegar, soy sauce and honey, and simmer a minute until sauce has thickened a bit. Turn chicken to coat in sauce. Serves 4.
