Ziti al Forno
This turns out to be very similar to our "Pink Sauce" pasta recipe, so, of course, we really liked this copy-cat recipe from Olive Garden - 5 Cheese Ziti al Forno. I even bought all five cheeses, one of which was a first; can you guess which one?
Ziti al Forno
- one pound ziti (or any other pasta), cooked and drained
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce (use this one, that one, your own, or even just a regular white sauce)
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup Mozzarella, 1/2 cup fontina, 1/2 cup Romano, 1/2 ricotta cheese
- Topping: 1 cup Mozzarella, 1/2 cup Parmesan, 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
Combine the pasta, two sauces, and first four cheeses and transfer to a greased 9x13" pan. Sprinkle with topping and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Garnish with parsley, if desired.
