Orange Cranberry Sauce
You can find the original recipe here; I halved it. However, if I was actually serving it for our Thanksgiving feast, I would have used the original amounts. Note that 3 cups of fresh cranberries is equal to a 12-ounce bag (the size you find in the grocery store).
Orange Cranberry Sauce
- 1 1/2 cups fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons triple sec (or orange juice)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons orange juice
- 3/4 teaspoon orange zest
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer for about 15 minutes, then cool before serving.
