Instant Pot Rice
Usually, I just cook our rice in a pot on the stove, but we had family visiting and I thought using the Instant Pot would be a better choice. Then I realized I hadn't posted any instructions on how to do so. Now I have!
Use a ratio of 1 part rice and 1 1/4 parts water with a bit of salt and butter or oil. This time I put 4 cups rice, 5 cups water, 2 teaspoons salt and 2 tablespoons butter into the Instant Pot. Using the manual option, set it to cook on high for 3 minutes. Allow to release naturally for ten minutes, then remove lid, stir to fluff and serve.
This was our basis for Hawaiian Haystacks. That turned out to be a great choice for our picky eaters! Everyone ate something and was happy with their dinner!
