Tartar Sauce

It would have made more sense to make this Tartar Sauce before trying all the fish sandwiches in the cookbook, but that would have been doing things out of order. So, we'll just have to continue having more fish in the menu plan, and that's fine with us. We tried Swai for the first time, cooked it with jerk seasoning, and discovered we quite liked it. Give it a try yourself!

Tartar Sauce

  • 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sweet (or dill) relish
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • Juice of half a large lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • Pinch of pepper

Combine all ingredients and store in the refrigerator. 

The recipe itself called for twice the amount of each ingredient, but it also gave the option to cut it in half so that's what we did.
