Butterscotch Sticky Buns

Sticky buns are a type of cinnamon roll, and these come with the shortcut of using refrigerated crescent roll dough. The recipe called for two cans, so we bought one "original" and one "buttery and flaky" but we really couldn't taste a difference between the two.

Sprinkle butterscotch chips on the dough (personally I thought you didn't need to use the entire bag, just a few would have been fine) and roll up. Place in a buttered pan and bake for 15 minutes.

In the meantime, melt some butter and butterscotch chips together, then stir in some sugar, nuts, cinnamon, and even a bit of lemon juice. Spoon on top of the rolls, then bake an additional 5 minutes. Serve warm.
