Burrata
Have you ever heard of Burrata? We hadn't, but it's a type of cheese. Specifically, it's fresh mozzarella surrounding a filling of some even softer cheese. (Most recipes suggest ricotta.) While it's possible to make your own, it's much easier to buy it already made. We found some at Aldi and tried it first in our copy-cat appetizer recipe.
We added the cheese to scrambled eggs and then omelets, but would rather use Cheddar in those dishes.
Our final recipe for this carton of Burrata was flatbread. I used our recipe for the bread, but this one provided some inspiration for the toppings. Bake the bread with the prosciutto and some Parmesan. When cooked, immediately top with the Burrata and arugula. Drizzle with some honey and serve immediately.
