Christmas Salsa

  • 12 ounces cranberries
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded
  • 4-5 green onions
  • 1/4 cup cilantro or flat parsley
  • 1/2 to 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lime or lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Combine all ingredients in a food processer and mix until finely chopped. 

Many of the reviews suggested this salsa was great on its own, served with tortilla chips. We tried that, but didn't care for it. So, then we spooned it over cream cheese and tried it on crackers. That was much better. However, we think we'll like it best as a condiment for chicken or ham!
