Mushrooms!
The next section in the produce aisle contains several varieties (and packaging methods) of mushrooms. We'll be eating mushrooms for a while. Fortunately, we like mushrooms, and there's usually some in the refrigerator each week. Normally we stick with plain white mushrooms; it will be interesting to try some new options. First up was "baby bella" mushrooms.
added to a Mother's Day frittata
added to a regular dinner salad - Italian and Honey Mustard dressings were equally delicious
added to spaghetti
added to lamb curry
Next in line was sliced baby bella mushrooms. Those got added to salad (uncooked) and rice pilaf (cooked first and hidden behind the mahi) and some delicious cream soup.
I added them to some stir-fry vegies to make a nice side dish for our chicken.
